What is CartoonMe?
A:
The thinking behind CartoonMe is to provide a fast and affordable online
caricature service. There are four main products available through the
online ordering system - Emails, Portraits Cards and digital caricatures - although Custom Orders
are also welcome. Simply order, send photos and I'll draw the caricature
and send it out to you.

Q: Are
all caricatures hand drawn?
A:
Yes, all caricatures are hand drawn, including those sent by e-mail which
are hand drawn and then scanned before being sent.

Q: What
types of caricatures can I order?
A:
You can order the following single person, two person or multi-person (up to ten
people) caricatures through the simple
online ordering system:

Original
colour caricatures
sent via e-mail - perfect for home printing! Alternatively, they are great for sending to friends
or for use as e-mail signatures, avatars or letterheads. Available in black and

original prints on professional quality paper - great
for wall mounting and framing. These Caricatures are available in either

hand-drawn colour pieces which can be ordered
for any occasion, and are
available square cut (21cm x 21 cm) and printed using high quality matt card. click

Q: What
can I have in my caricature?
A:
Anything you want! Any themes, backgrounds and props can be incorporated to make
the caricature more personal - I can create caricatures to suit work, interests,
sport, hobbies etc. You can also add a personal message as part of the piece if
you wish, for occasions such as birthdays, retirements or graduations.

Q:
How do I know I'll like my caricature?
A:
I can't guarantee this - it is art after all and everyone's opinions are
different! Provided you have supplied photos showing a fairly good
likeness, I am confident you will be pleased with the results. However, I
take pride in my work and it is important to me that my customers are satisfied,
so if for any reason you are not happy with your caricature please contact me to
see what I can do to make it right.

Q: What
if I want more than one person in my caricature?
A: You
can order Caricatures of up to ten people by standard order. If you wish to
include more than ten people please contact me for a Custom Order.

Q: How
long will I have to wait for my caricature?
A: That
depends on which type of caricature you choose and the volume of orders
received. Caricatures sent by e-mail usually arrive well within 5 days, Caricatures sent by post take a
little longer and usually arrive within 7-10 working days. If you have a
specific date you wish to receive your caricature by, please let me know and I
will try my best to meet that deadline.

Q: How do
I pay for my caricature?
A: After
completing the online Order Form simply click the 'Buy Now' button next to the
type of caricature you have ordered. Online payments are safe and are made using PayPal’s secure server.

Q: How do
I send my photograph?
A:
Once you have completed the
online Order Form and made your secure payment, you will be invited to email your
photo(s) to CartoonMe.

Q: What
kind of photo can I send?
A:
Quality: Digital photos of at least 1 mega pixel (also applies to photos taken on camera
phones)
Format: JPEG is great, and I also accept other major file formats (GIF,
PNG, BMP, PICT, TIFF)
Subject: A
clear, close-up shot of the face is preferable -
the better quality the photo, the easier it is for me to obtain a good
likeness. If you wish, you can send two photographs
from different angles to give a better idea of what the person looks like
Multi-Person Orders: Please send at least one photo of each person to be
included - or a group photo if you have one (or if you want to decide who stands
next to who!!!)

Q: How
is my caricature sent to me?
A:
Email Caricatures are sent digitally by e-mail at 300 dpi. Portrait
Caricatures are sent in postal tubes by secure post. Cartoon Cards are sent
in protective padded envelopes, again by secure post.

Q:
Does the price include Postage & Packing?
A:
No. Obviously there is no postage charge for Email orders. All other
orders are subject to a postage charge as follows: single Cards £2.00, A3 Caricatures
£3.00. Overseas orders incur further
charges to be paid by PayPal Invoice.

Q:
Are there any commissions you won’t take on?
A:
Any commissions which could be seen as grossly offensive or inappropriate can be
refused at my discretion. Any undue offence caused
by caricatures is the responsibility of the customer who commissions the piece!

Are the caricatures copyrighted?
A:
I have limited rights on all the caricatures I create. This simply means that I
require you to contact me for permission if you intend to use the artwork for
commercial purposes or to re-sell it in any way. Different charges apply for
commercial illustration.
